· Features and application Y series medium size high voltage 3 phase asynchronous motors are high in efficiency, reliable in operation and easy to mount and maintain.
Y series motors are used to drive compressor, ventilator, water pump, breaker, cutting machine, grinding mill and other general purpose machines.
Y series motors are allowed to be started directly at full voltage. When start the motor, the rheostat should be connected to regulate the starting torque by adjusting resistor attached but the rotor windings should not be short-circuited.The frame of motor is welded by steel plates to be formed a box-type.The rotor winding of the Y series motor is made of cast aluminum or copper bar.
The motor is designed to use rolling bearing with grease lubrication or sliding with diluted oil lubrication. The oil can be charged and discharged conveniently.Comparison of different series High Voltage motors
